Vibram® Megagrip: traction for confident foot placement
The outsole uses Vibram® Megagrip rubber, designed for grip on both dry and wet surfaces. It is especially useful when you must react quickly: landing on a rock, changing line on a descent or accelerating out of a turn. No outsole removes all risk on smooth rock, wet roots or deep mud, so careful foot placement and an appropriate pace still matter.
Cr Foam™: cushioning without a dull ride
Craft uses an updated version of Cr Foam™, a supercritical EVA foam. It balances softness, low weight and energy return to soften repeated downhill impacts while preserving a lively ride on more runnable sections.
The Vild 1 has a stack height of 36.5 mm at the heel and 29.5 mm at the forefoot, including the insole, for a 7 mm drop. It provides useful cushioning for sustained outings and demanding routes rather than a close-to-ground minimalist feel.
An upper built for demanding trails
The ripstop polyester upper is designed to resist tearing, while TPU reinforcements protect exposed areas. Craft’s Endurance Fit® combines a snug heel, secure midfoot and more room at the front. The aim is to reduce foot movement when the trail slopes while allowing the toes to move naturally.

Before a long run or race, try the Vild 1 on terrain similar to your usual route. Your heel should stay in place on descents and your toes should not hit the front of the shoe. Adjust the laces for a secure midfoot without squeezing the forefoot.
