On Sunday 27 September 2026, the Just Tri brought swimmers, cyclists and runners together at Les Argales leisure site in Rieulay, northern France. Tripp Sport joined the event with a stand and a wetsuit rental service. It was a friendly day and a great introduction to triathlon for everyone who came to take part or cheer.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand to talk with us. The enthusiasm of participants, volunteers and supporters made this a memorable event.
Just Tri Rieulay: a triathlon designed for discovery
Organised by Triathlon Orchies Pévèle, Just Tri was an individual, sprint-distance recreational triathlon without timing or rankings. The announced 2026 course comprised:
- 750 m of open-water swimming at Les Argales;
- 21 km of road cycling over three laps;
- 5 km of running.
The event took place at Base de loisirs Les Argales, 42 rue Suzanne Lanoy, 59870 Rieulay. The bike transition area opened at 8 a.m., the briefing was scheduled for 9:45 a.m. and the start for 10 a.m., with women setting off before men. The format offered newcomers a chance to experience open-water swimming and the transitions between disciplines in a welcoming setting.
A friendly sporting atmosphere
From the swim start to the bike area and the run, the energy was palpable. Just Tri showed that triathlon can be about taking on a personal challenge and sharing a good day together. Congratulations to the organisers, volunteers and every participant.
Tripp Sport and wetsuit rental
We were on site to help participants with triathlon wetsuit rentals. Renting is a practical way to prepare for a first event or try swimming in a wetsuit before deciding whether to buy one.
